Orange County weddings, Persian and mixed
Orange County has a large Persian community, which means an Orange County wedding usually comes with a big family, a long guest list and a room that expects the sofreh aghd, the knife dance and the entrance done properly. It also, more often than not, comes with a second family who are not Persian at all. Melika and Cole's wedding below was Iranian on one side and American on the other, with both of them wanting Spanish music, and that is the kind of night I am built for.
The way that works is the same everywhere I play: every announcement in Farsi and in English, the Persian sequence run by someone who has done it hundreds of times, and the music moving between Persian, English and whatever else the two families brought by reading the floor rather than a schedule. The planning happens in the music app months ahead, so the songs that matter to each side are in the timeline before anyone is standing on a dance floor wondering what comes next.
I travel to Orange County from the Bay Area for weddings, and the travel is inside the quote, not added on afterwards. Sound and lighting come with me and are sized to your room, from a hotel ballroom on the coast to a garden venue inland. Cold sparks and CO2 are available in Southern California and quoted per event. The venues I have played in Los Angeles, from Malibu to Palos Verdes, are on the Los Angeles page, and the full list for the state is on the locations page.
Send your date and your venue, wherever in the county it is, and you will get a straight answer on availability and one written quote after that. Southern California Saturdays go early, so it is worth asking before the rest of the plan is settled.
I would like to start off this review by saying my wife and I LOVE to dance! So, you can imagine we took finding our wedding DJ very seriously. And WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!
I mean, our guests were dancing with us from the beginning till the end of the night, and that's really all thanks to the performance DJ Mian put together! He has great energy and really brings out a very fun vibe!
My wife is Iranian and I'm American, and we both love Spanish music. DJ Mian was able to provide a perfect balance of Persian, American, and Latino music which is exactly what we had requested. We also loved his professionalism, and on top of that he had perfect lighting, sparklers, and CO2 blasters that really took the wedding to the next level for us and our guests.
My wife and I strongly recommend him for every event in the future and absolutely for weddings!!
