Persian Wedding DJ in Los Angeles

Los Angeles weddings, from Malibu to the South Bay

I am a Persian wedding DJ working across California, and Los Angeles is a regular stop. The weddings I have played here run along the coast and the hills behind it: Saddlerock Ranch up in the Malibu canyons, the Bel-Air Bay Club on the bluffs in the Palisades, the Four Seasons out at Westlake Village, and La Venta on the hill above Palos Verdes. Those are four very different rooms. A ranch in the hills has no walls for the sound to bounce off and a long way to carry gear; a clifftop club has the ocean wind at the ceremony; a hotel ballroom has a house engineer and a rulebook.

Los Angeles has the biggest Persian community anywhere outside Iran, and a Persian wedding here is judged by people who have been to a great many of them. The sofreh aghd, the knife dance and the entrance are announced in Farsi for the family and repeated in English for everyone else, and the music moves between Persian and English by reading the floor. If one side of the family is not Persian, that is the usual shape of the weddings I play, and the planning app is where both families' songs go before the night.
